Chief Robert MacDonald reports that the Dighton Police Department has located a juvenile resident who had been missing since July 30.
The 15-year-old female was found safe earlier Tuesday in New Bedford and has since been reunited with her mother.
The Dighton Police Department would like to thank the numerous state agencies and detective divisions from local police departments that they collaborated with during the investigative process.
“Over the past two weeks, Detective Ryan Richards worked tirelessly on this case to locate the missing juvenile. We are proud to say that his diligence and determination proved fruitful as his collaboration with New Bedford detectives resulted in locating the juvenile,” Chief MacDonald said.
The Dighton Police Department has no reason to believe that any foul play was involved.
