Chief Christopher Maguy announces that the Dighton Fire Department is accepting applications for an open Firefighter/Paramedic position.
The Dighton Fire Department offers a competitive salary, with a starting base with a paramedic stipend of $75,104, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

- Vacation time off from 96-336 hours and 48 hours of personal leave
- 13 compensated holidays with the ability to be “floated”

In this position, a firefighter/paramedic will have fire suppression and emergency medical care responsibilities. Depending on the nature of the incident, this personnel may provide extrication and rescue, fire suppression or hazard control and administer emergency medical care.
